Trip reports nobody asked for. I spend most weekends up high, hiking and scrambling up the lower 48’s tallest peaks. The eastern Sierra is my “home” base, and I spent a year in Montana and Wyoming exploring the Beartooths, Absaroka, Bighorns, Tetons, and Crazies. Yes, there are grizzly bears there (I saw 30). And moose. And wolves. I had a good time.

Why write these? To give free beta (route advice) to my fellow mountain goats and to scratch the itch to write. Writing beta in narrative form achieves both.
