I’m an enthusiast.
I love to write for the sake of writing. I always looked forward to writing essays in class and reveled in the peer-review process; I even ran an a little side hustle editing my classmates’ college application essays my senior year of high school. This made me eager to seize on every professional opportunity to apply my craft, be it editing analytic reports, writing web copy, or freelance copywriting. Outside of work, I’ve channeled my editorial passion into satire from my stint as Editor-in-Chief of UCLA’s Westwood Enabler in college to my current project LAish.
Now a copywriter at Denstu Creative, I bring the magic to life for Disney Vacation Club with thumb-stopping content, car-stopping billboards (though let’s be honest, the 405 wasn’t moving anyway), and Resort branding that really makes you stop and think, “wow, I want to meet the mid-level copywriter who worked on that!”
Prior to my stint working for the Mouse, I spent three years at Illumina Consulting Group for nearly three years, I constantly adapted my role as the small company’s needs evolved. A trained research analyst, editor, and content designer, I collaborated with every arm of our company. I then took my knack for using words to help users navigate complex products and pivoted to UX and content writing. In 2022, I left ICG to lead the content team at a wellness startup before transitioning to my current role at Dentsu.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I refuse to succumb to boredom. I am an avid hiker, rock climber, and trail runner, which has led me to adventures from the snowy Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountain backcountries to the peaks of the volcanic Canary Islands and jagged French Alps. I fill any time I have left exploring my zest for cooking, throwing myself into smoking briskets, learning the art of Sichuan cooking, making sourdough bread from all sorts of different grains, brewing cider and mead, and regularly setting off the smoke detector.
